Summer is one of the seasons that inspire me most when it comes to music. Sunrises and sunsets has always been a special phenomenon to me, they make me feel kind of melancholy and euphoric at the same time. The colours that appear when the sun sets is a powerful inspiration to me, it's almost overwhelming. It's hard to write down in words exactly what the idea for "Sunset" was, the melodies and chord progressions often strikes me like lightning, as weird as it may sound. I'm not a very emotional guy on the outside, but on the inside it's sometimes like a tornado of emotions, just waiting to be structured in a creative kind of way. I hope this shines through in my track!

If you are looking for the perfect tune to lure you to the dance floor, press play on Henrix’s newest track, "Drop Low”, which was picked up by Kaskade himself for his label Arkade. After being dropped at Holy Ship and Ultra this spring, over 65,000 people witnessed Drop Low” first-hand as it was officially debuted at Coachella by the legendary Kaskade himself. Henrix’s track was the only non-Kaskade song in the set and is now ready for a worldwide release.
Henrix has been hustling in 2015, releasing successful collaborations and originals on a multitude of prestigious EDM labels, such as Thrive Music and Mixmash Records. The release of „Drop Low” on veteran producer Kaskade’s relatively new label, Arkade Records, bolsters Henrix’s credibility as a versatile and distinguishable player in the industry. Fellow Miami artist Digital Lab is known for his electro-infused remixes, including Henrix’s „The Underground” with David Tort. No matter where you are, „Drop Low” will get fans of house, bass music, and even hip hop shaking on the dance floors this summer.
The Chainsmokers have thrown everything but the kitchen sink at you, from #selfie, to Kanye, Let you Go and Good Intentions, but this song is more important and different for us than all those past songs and when you listen you will know why.
"This song represents an inherent change in the right direction not the beginning but the end of that transition, almost like we have finally come full circle to a place musically we are finally completely happy with a song. That is not just a reflection us personally but also a reflection of us currently. That isn't to say we wont continue to evolve and take chances and the music will all sound the same but this to us felt as natural as drinking the bottle of patron every show... Roses is us, through and through... its also the first song we have co wrote the lyrics for with the amazingly talented Rozes (check her out ROZES... ) and also Drew sings on this song which is a first for us but not the last! Honestly we dont even want to say anymore. This song is super special for us and we just rather let you listen and hopefully if you love it support it! This is The Chainsmokers we always hoped to become!"
